An exported session was not self-contained: subagent transcripts stayed behind as separate child sessions, large tool outputs were referenced by absolute temp-file paths that dangle on another machine, and import silently dropped the provider and model settings. Exports now include all descendant sessions and the spilled files they reference, content-addressed by sha256. Import recreates the session tree under fresh ids, writes the artifacts to a goose-owned directory, rewrites the file pointers, and preserves provider_name/model_config. Plain Session JSON still imports unchanged. |
