We've had several outages with a proximate cause of "vercel is complicated", and auto-update is considered a critical feature; so lets not use vercel for that. Release Notes: - Auto Updates (and remote server binaries) are now downloaded via https://cloud.zed.dev instead of https://zed.dev.
