Follow-up to #21137
The manual install instructions in `linux.md` set `Exec=` to
`libexec/zed-editor` (main binary) instead of `bin/zed` (cli).
Using `zed-editor` directly throws "zed is already running" error and
files won't open from the file explorer. The "Open a new workspace"
right-click option on the desktop entry also doesn't work correctly.

There have been 5+ PRs attempting to fix Linux desktop icon association
by adding `StartupWMClass` back to the `.desktop.in` template (#15763,
#20644, #23459, #33019, #37962), all closed because `StartupWMClass` is
an X11-specific key that GNOME happens to misuse on Wayland, and the
correct fix per the FreeDesktop spec is to name the `.desktop` file to
match the app's Wayland `app_id` / X11 `WM_CLASS`. Refer:

The root cause is that `bundle-linux` was never updated to produce the
correct filename in the tarball. The only consumers of the tarball's
desktop file are `install.sh` and manual extractors. So this fix is for
people who download the tarball and extract it without `install.sh`. The
docs already tell them to rename, but as @wcbing points out, not
everyone reads that carefully.
We are now making `bundle-linux` produce the correctly named desktop
file from the start.

Similar to #42246, we'd like to avoid having Vercel on the critical
path.
https://zed.dev/install.sh is served from Cloudflare by intercepting a
route on that page, so this makes the shell-based install flow vercel independent.

Reverts zed-industries/zed#29718
We've noticed some issues with Zed on Intel-based Macs where typing has
become sluggish, and git bisect has seemed to point towards this PR.
Reverting for now, until we can understand why it is causing this issue.
Currently, the rendering path required creating a texture for each path,
which wasted a large amount of video memory. In our application, simply
drawing some charts resulted in video memory usage as high as 5G.
I removed the step of creating path textures and directly drew the paths
on the rendering target, adding post-processing global multi-sampling
anti-aliasing. Drawing paths no longer requires allocating any
additional video memory and also improves the performance of path
rendering.

These steps solved audio issues on my system (Tuxedo OS), but should be
applicable to any PipeWire/PulseAudio system that has more than one
audio interface.

There apparently is some amdgpu/radv bug that rendering with
multisample anti-aliasing (MSAA) results in a crash when the bounds
of a triangle list exceed 1024px, which in Zed happens with the default
buffer font size when you select a line with more than 144 characters.
This crash has been reported as #26143.
This commit introduces a workaround: you can set the
ZED_PATH_SAMPLE_COUNT=0
environment variable to disable MSAA and the error message we print
when a GPU crash is encountered with radv now suggests trying this
environment
variable as a workaround and links the respective issue.
Sidenote: MSAA was introduced in
f08b1d78ec
so you didn't run into this driver bug with versions < 0.173.8.

Currently, saving files with `root` ownership or `root` as the group
throws a `Permission denied (os error 13). Please try again.` error.
This PR fixes the issue on Linux by prompting the user for a password
and saving the file with elevated privileges.
It uses `pkexec` (Polkit), which is by default available on GNOME, KDE,
and most Linux systems. I haven't implemented this for macOS as I don't
have a device to test it on.
This implementation is similar to how Vscode handles it. Except, they
don't show custom message.
**Working**:
When file saving fails due to a `PermissionDenied` error, we create a
temporary file in the same directory as the target file and writes the
data to this temporary file. After, the contents of this file are copied
to the original file using the `tee` command instead of `cp` or `mv`.
This ensures that the ownership and permissions of the original file are
preserved. This command is executed using `pkexec` which will prompt
user for their password.
**Custom Message**:
The message displayed to the user in the prompt is automatically
retrieved from the `org.zed.app.policy` file, which is located at
`/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/`. This file should be installed during the
setup process. While the policy file is optional, omitting it will cause
the user to see the underlying command being executed rather than a
user-friendly message. Currently, VSCode does not display the
user-friendly message.
The policy file must specify a unique binary, ensuring that only that
binary can use the policy file. It cannot be as generic as a
`/bin/bash`, as any software using bash to prompt will end up showing
Zed’s custom message. To address this, we will create a custom bash
script, as simple as the following, placed in `/usr/bin/zed/elevate.sh`.
The script should have root ownership and should not reside in the home
directory, since the policy file cannot resolve `$HOME`.

Since copying the policy file and our script requires sudo privileges,
the installation script will now prompt for the password at very end.

Our GitHub Actions Linux ARM hosted runner was running Ubuntu 20 was EOL'd.
This gets builds working on the Ubuntu 22 Linux ARM runner which have spun to replace the EOL'd one. It pushes forward our Glibc requirement for Linux ARM users (was >= 2.29, now >= 2.35; sorry!) but also uses a newer version of clang/llvm (was 10, now 15; yay!).
- The secrets portal is only used if the application is sandboxed
without access to the org.freedesktop.secrets on the host but as zed is
not really working correctly if sandboxed as is, it is better to
completely omit that part
- The org.freedestkop.secrets is not a portal but a spec file that is
implemented by both gnome in gnome-keyring, kde in kwallet but also by
other password managers like keepassxc and it is a requirement for a
"correctly" set up linux desktop so just remove that wrongly documented
bit

`zed.desktop` file to match the window, so most users will not be facing

extracted the files following the manual instructions.
Since the app ID and the desktop file name are not the same, open
windows are not being matched with the desktop icons, therefore showing
a default one. This PR changes the documentation to tell users they
should rename the `.desktop` file to `dev.zed.Zed.desktop`, and
therefore match the automated install script.
