The OAuth callback URL (http://localhost:PORT/callback) was interpolated directly into the auth URL query string without encoding. The colons and slashes could cause ambiguous parsing on strict URL parsers or proxies, potentially breaking the OAuth flow. Other parameters in the same URL (spawn_agent, spawn_cloud) were already correctly encoded.
