* chore(deps): Refresh mobile-mcp vendored lockfile to drop vulnerable sharp

* fix(telemetry): stub sdk-node 0.221 env auto-config helper packages

sdk-node 0.221 extracted its env-based auto-configuration into
@opentelemetry/configuration, otlp-exporter-base, and
otlp-grpc-exporter-base, which it now requires eagerly. The existing
esbuild stub only covered the exporter-* packages, so the OTLP protocol
chain (grpc-js, protobufjs, otlp-transformer) re-entered the sdk-impl
static closure and tripped the serve fast-path bundle guard.

Stub the three helper packages when imported by sdk-node only; our own
protocol modules keep resolving the real packages. qwen-code never
reaches these helpers at runtime (explicit exporters + env scrub).

* fix(deps): declare bundled punycode so its notice survives regeneration

The CLI esbuild config aliases punycode to the userland package
(esbuild.config.js), so the shipped CLI bundle contains MIT-licensed
punycode@2.3.1. Its NOTICES.txt section was lost because the only
lockfile paths reaching punycode were dev-only; the notice walker
(rooted at vscode-ide-companion) never sees a production declaration.

Declare punycode as a direct production dependency of the CLI (the
bundle input) and of vscode-ide-companion (which packages the bundled
CLI into the VSIX and owns NOTICES.txt), then regenerate the lockfile
and notices so the MIT notice is restored.

- Clarify MR1 matrix, CI wiring, and provenance evidence boundaries

The published CLI's sharp version was hardcoded in prepare-package.js,
which drifted from the workspace dependency on every bump. Read it from
packages/core/package.json so the publish pin always matches the declared
dependency. Add a test assertion to catch future drift in CI.

* fix(scripts): read sharp pin from package-lock.json instead of core package.json range

The previous approach read the sharp version from packages/core/package.json
(which has ^0.35.0) and stripped the caret, producing 0.35.0. This is the
range floor, not the lockfile-resolved version (0.35.3). Read from
package-lock.json so the published CLI ships the same version CI tests.

* fix(integration-tests): make the project typecheckable and fix what that found

`tsc -p integration-tests/tsconfig.json` could not run at all. The config
carried a `"//"` documentation key inside `compilerOptions.paths`, and every
value there must be an array, so tsc aborted with TS5063 before checking a
single file. Nothing in CI runs it either, so the directory has been
unchecked for its whole life -- which is how PR #8620 shipped an
`integration-tests/cli/qwen-serve-streaming.test.ts` that referenced an
undeclared `REPO_ROOT`, swallowed the ReferenceError in a bare catch, and
reported a green skip for a security regression test.

Moving that note out of `paths` exposed 404 errors. Three more config
defects accounted for 353 of them:

- `composite: true` is inherited from the root config for the packages that
  are actually referenced. Composite requires every file in the program to
  appear in `include`, and these tests import package sources by relative
  path, so it produced 324 TS6307. Nothing references this project and it
  emits nothing, so it is now `composite: false`.
- The root `lib` is ES2023 only. The suite drives browser-side code in
  `terminal-capture/` and pulls SDK sources that name `WebSocket` and
  `HeadersInit`, so 21 identifiers resolved to nothing. Now DOM +
  DOM.Iterable + ES2023, matching packages/cli.
- Workspace packages resolved through `packages/core/dist` via a project
  reference, so with core unbuilt the checker reported a dozen members as
  missing from `Storage` that are right there in the source. They now
  resolve from source through `paths`, mirroring packages/cli, and the
  reference is gone.

node-pty declares `types` at the top level but its `exports` map is a bare
string with no `types` condition, so nodenext never reached the
declarations and every pty handle degraded to `any` -- which is what
silently untyped the `data` and `exitCode` callbacks in test-helper.ts. It
now resolves through `paths` as well. `@types/jsdom` is added for the one
file that uses it; DefinitelyTyped has no release matching jsdom 26 (it
jumps 21 -> 27), so this pins the current 28.x.

Two real defects fell out of the remaining 51:

- write_file.test.ts built a detailed tool-call failure message and passed
  it to `toBeTruthy()`, which takes no arguments. It was discarded on every
  failure, leaving only a bare literal.
- Two terminal-capture scenarios set `gif: true` inside `streaming`, where
  the runner never reads it. It is a scenario-level switch.

The rest was making an existing `undefined` visible. `readToolLogs()`
promised `name: string` for fields copied straight out of telemetry
attributes that nothing validates; the stdout fallback can promise them,
the telemetry branch cannot, and claiming otherwise just moved the
`undefined` past the type checker into the assertions.

This is type resolution only. `integration-tests/vitest.config.ts` keeps
its own hardcoded aliases onto the built SDK bundle, so the suite still
exercises the published-bundle shape at runtime.

Not wired into CI here, but not for cost reasons: a cold run of
`tsc -p integration-tests/tsconfig.json` takes about 106s on an idle
developer box. The program is 2679 files, of which 103 are integration
tests and roughly 1100 are package sources their own projects already
check, so there is duplicated work available to reclaim by resolving the
packages from their built declarations -- but at ~106s it is already cheap
enough to gate on as-is.

  entered its program through vitest's optional jsdom types and injected
  lib dom, flipping @types/node's fetch globals to DOM variants whose
  ReadableStream is not async-iterable (TS2504 in http-client.ts), which
  failed every CI job during the npm ci prepare build.
- integration-tests tsconfig: explicit nodenext paths entries for every
  workspace subpath the program imports (sdk/daemon, 19 acp-bridge
  subpaths, core goalWire/memoryScopes/userPromptSubmitContext, webui
  daemon-react-sdk, channel-base); drop the dead `*` wildcards; include

  revert the six bracket-access rewrites it forced in SDK sources.
- channel-plugin: import channels/base from src and map
  @qwen-code/channel-base to source so both declarations agree.
- qwen-serve-streaming: asAccepted delegates to the SDK's exported
  isNonBlockingAccepted type predicate instead of a drifted copy.
- sleep-interception: tighten blocked predicates to success === false
  and fix the comment describing them.
- Declare jsdom at the root next to @types/jsdom.

* fix(integration-tests): complete source-resolution paths and restore single channel-base instance

Address review round 2:

- Map the eight builtin channel adapters and web-templates to source.
  channel-registry.ts and html.ts still resolved them through their
  exports maps to dist, so the typecheck's build-independence was
  incomplete: on a tree without built dists it failed with the exact
  9 x TS2307 the maintainer verification measured.
- channel-plugin.test.ts: import @qwen-code/channel-base by bare
  specifier instead of a relative src path. At runtime the test and
  plugin-example now resolve the same dist/index.js through the
  exports map, restoring the single ChannelBase / SessionRouter
  instance the relative src import silently split; type resolution
  still maps to source through paths, and vitest.config.ts keeps
  pointing e2e runs at the built bundles.

Deduplicate the IPv6-transition unwrapping sequence (mapped, compatible,

Run the invasive process-global `mock.module('ws')` suite as
voice-ws-handler.isolated.ts so the desktop package's single-process
`bun test` run no longer leaks the fake socket into unrelated ws
consumers; the existing isolated loop runs it in its own process.

Shape-guard the desktop provider scan: non-object modelProviders
elements are skipped (falling through to OAuth instead of throwing a
raw TypeError), and non-string baseUrl/envKey/settings.env values on a
voice-model entry now surface the PROVIDER_ENTRY_REMEDY remediation
error instead of crashing.

Compute the DashScope-compatible /v1 rewrite before any allowlist
match in fromExactModelProvider so the stage-1 check, the remediation
messages, and the top-level recheck all compare the same final URL and
a single allowlist entry converges for split-horizon deployments.

Extend the CLI allowlist remediation messages to state which settings
scopes honor the entry, since serve mode never shows the interactive
workspace-strip warning. Thread providerProtocol through the CLI voice
model seams (createVoiceModelSource and the daemon buildModelsConfig)
so protocol-mapped custom provider groups resolve like the rest of the
CLI model surface, and document the remaining protocol-agnostic desktop
scan in the design doc. Correct the getHomeEnvFallback comment: it
adopts the narrower getHomeEnvFallbackVars candidate set on purpose.

Add multi-record DNS answer tests on both CLI and desktop net guards so
the records.some classification is pinned against the array shape
defaultLookupHost always produces in production.

Distinguish the ACP child's idle placeholder (initialized: false,
discoveryState: 'not_started') from a genuinely empty server list so

feat(verify-pr): ship a one-command capture helper (#8114)
* feat(verify-pr): ship a one-command capture helper

Fourth attempt at the same failure, and the first one aimed at the real
cause. The score so far:

  #8016  captures were "Optionally … when text cannot carry the
         oracle"                                        -> 0 images / 14 runs
  #8104  captures became budget item 4 in Scope
         selection                                      -> 0 images / 1 run

That last run is the one that settles it. Same PR (#7975), browser
installed and working ("Install evidence browser: success"), and the
verification got DEEPER — 64 assertions against 40, 53 tables against
31 — while still producing zero images. An agent reading the instruction,
doing more work than before, and still not capturing is not an agent that
missed the instruction.

The cause is one I should have checked when I wrote #8016: the skill sent
the agent to build node-pty -> xterm.js -> Playwright itself, and
`node-pty` is not a dependency of this repo. It needs a native build. The
`playwright` package is not a declared dependency either. So the
documented route did not exist, and the incentive was entirely against
trying it: authoring that pipeline risks failing and eats budget, while
skipping costs nothing and is invisible.

`scripts/verify-capture.mjs` makes a capture one command using deps that
are already installed:

      --title 'A/B: the gate flips' -- node my-harness.mjs

Command (or stdin) -> @xterm/headless parses the ANSI into a cell grid
with colour and bold -> SVG -> sharp rasterises. No browser, no
pseudo-terminal. A non-zero exit from the captured command still produces
an image, because capturing a failing base arm is the normal case.

The skill's dead route is removed and replaced with that command, and the
budget line drops from ~5 minutes to ~2 because there is no pipeline to
author. QWEN_VERIFY_CHROMIUM and its install stay for a future web-UI
capture, but the terminal route no longer depends on them — gating on a
browser the route does not use is how an absent browser turns into a
skipped capture.

Mutation-verified 7/7 against the real helper and the real PNGs: bare LF
(staircase render), no event-loop turn (blank capture), dropped bold,
dropped colour, no blank-row trimming, tolerating an empty capture, and
dropped geometry validation.

Two of those initially SURVIVED. The colour test compared "coloured and
bold" against plain and asserted the bytes differ — which passes while
EITHER attribute survives. That is the wrong-reason trap this skill warns
about, met in the skill's own test file. Each attribute is now isolated
against the same plain baseline (green-no-bold, bold-no-colour), and both
mutations kill.

119/119 across both suites; prettier and eslint clean.

* fix(verify-pr): harden capture helper per review (#8114)

- Strip U+FE0F before rasterising: the emoji variation selector made Pango
  abort() in native code (SIGTRAP, no PNG, no diagnostic) when no colour-emoji
  font exists; the base codepoint renders. Add a non-ASCII regression test.
- Await xterm's write callback instead of a fixed 120ms sleep, so a large
  capture is not read mid-parse and silently come out blank.
- Name a signal-killed child ("killed by SIGKILL") rather than "exited null".
- Warn on stderr when input is taller than --rows and the top is dropped.
- Correct the falsified "route did not exist" rationale: the browser pipeline's
  deps do resolve from this repo; the real fragility is that
  integration-tests/terminal-capture is not a root workspace. Keep a skill
  pointer to terminal-capture for TUI/web-UI captures this helper cannot do.
- Qualify the colour claim (16 base ANSI colours; 256/truecolor fall back).
- Tests: feed both --cols and --rows to the geometry guard, exercise escapeXml,
  flatten the SKILL.md assertion against reflow, and replace the platform-fragile
  PNG byte-length check (flaked at 846B on Linux vs >1000B on macOS) with the
  deterministic canvas geometry.

warning, and taller input under-reported the drop by one. Compare against
a capacity of rows - 1 for newline-terminated input.

Also lift SGR 30 foreground to the default grey: it mapped to #1e1e1e,
identical to the canvas background, so black-foreground labels (e.g.
vitest's project badge) vanished as black-on-black.

* fix(scripts): address review feedback on verify-capture helper (#8114)

- Declare sharp as a root devDependency so the script does not rely on
  workspace hoisting from packages/core
- Guard against TTY stdin hanging silently: check process.stdin.isTTY
  before readFileSync(0) and print usage immediately

  insert a separator between stdout and stderr when stdout lacks a

ci: keep the critical-audit gate honest when npm cannot answer (#7743)
npm retired the `security/audits/quick` endpoint, which now 400s for this
package tree. `npm audit` exits 1 for that exactly as it does for a real
critical finding, so every PR in the repo went red on 2026-07-26 with
"Invalid package tree" — a failure no branch can fix.

The exit code alone cannot gate a merge: treating every non-zero as
vulnerable blocks the repo on an npm outage, and ignoring it retires the
gate. The payload separates them — a real audit always carries
metadata.vulnerabilities, a transport failure carries the request error.

Classify on that: a finding still fails, an unreachable endpoint warns and
passes, and anything unrecognised fails closed so a payload-shape change
gets a human rather than a silently disabled gate.

Verify that PR notifications with @mention in the body (not a comment)
correctly trigger the first-contact path: extractFromSubjectUrl matches
/pulls/N, listComments returns empty, tryFirstContactBody fetches the
PR body and dispatches to handleInbound with threadId 'pr:N'.

Move pollInterval config reading from GithubAdapter to the base class.
The user's configured pollInterval in settings.json is now respected
directly without a minimum enforcement. Defaults to 60000ms when not
configured.

request, improving comprehension. Metadata is still appended after

- Add disconnectGeneration guard before mkdirSync in downloadAttachments
  to prevent orphaned temp directories when disconnect() races with
  in-flight attachment downloads

In the connect() catch block, client.disconnect() could throw (e.g. if
the WebSocket was already destroyed), masking the original connection
error. Wrap in try/catch so cleanup failures never shadow the root cause.
