Peter Steinberger 78d75e9350 fix(matrix): preserve direct mappings when account-data reads fail (#161727) ... Preserve existing Matrix peer mappings when an account-data read fails. Keep best-effort fallback on read-only inspection and propagate read errors before writes. The regression failed on the original code and passes after the fix.
