Preserve included SecretRef ids, channel tokens, and provider headers when saving configuration through the Control UI form. Compare redacted placeholders with the captured include-resolved authored original so the existing Gateway restoration and validation can accept the submission. Keep runtime-only credentials excluded and preserve the existing include ownership, write-through limits, backup, conflict, and rollback behavior. No migration, new option, schema change, or dependency change is required. The raw editor's separate unresolved-$include validation limitation remains outside this repair. Related: #150601. Thanks to @wakawakaooo for reporting and reproducing the failure. Validation: 76 focused tests and changed-file checks passed in the authoring lane; an isolated Gateway and Playwright save showed failure before the fix and success afterward, with the root include retained and the included file byte-identical. Exact-head CI run 35193994993 completed GREEN with zero pending checks. The recorded Codex review is scoped-clean, and ClawSweeper reported no findings on the reviewed head. |
