* fix(codex): settle sandbox processes and readiness probes
* fix(codex): revoke sandbox termination signals at exit
* fix(codex): preserve sandbox command process identity
* fix(ci): recognize cancellation-aware sandbox upload checks
* fix(ci): register sandbox upload scanner fixtures
* fix(gateway): settle cancelled chat waiters
Publish cancellation completion from the common dispatch finalizer for both resolved and rejected runtimes. Preserve the abort marker captured before rejection cleanup, session binding, and completed-delivery barrier.
Release-note context: agent.wait already watching a chat.send now finishes after chat.abort, including CLI runtimes that resolve with partial output. The real Gateway regression fails on the original code and passes after this owner repair; 59 focused tests, selected changed checks, final targeted checks, and independent P2 review passed.
* test(pdf): cancel worker extraction deterministically
Abort synchronously after submitting the real extraction so a worker result cannot race the former zero-delay timer. Preserve exact cancellation reason, pre-aborted rejection, and successful subsequent extraction assertions.
* fix(update): initialize fresh profiles with the selected runtime
Let the staged target initialize compatible state before admitting update history, while retaining executor ownership and existing-state downgrade protection. Preserve read-only previews, owned service selectors, legacy schema metadata, and interruption guards. Reject changed stored channels before adopting their config snapshots.
Refs #144132. Verified ten npm stable targets on isolated Testboxes, existing-state refusals, real systemd startup, and focused red-to-green regressions.
* fix(update): preserve admission and finalization contracts
Reject contradictory native service selectors before fresh state or package
metadata selection, and unwind already-published fresh refusals through the
canonical CLI exit boundary after ownership settles.
Use the synchronous Kysely boundary for interruption metadata inspection.
Align existing-profile and continuation fixtures with their real database,
package version, Gateway version, and control-store ownership. Preserve
legacy fallback, rollback, service lifecycle, and no-op assertions. Document
that fresh previews do not create history.
Related to #144132.
* fix(update): close fresh-admission and control-store races
Publish the existing shared update-control database only after its private
schema and permissions are complete, preserving original authority and
single-link recovery checks. Select fresh initialization from actual state
and keep inherited diagnostic IDs consistent across executor and history.
Preserve current-main update ownership and completion behavior. Repair the
skill-environment detector with source dataflow and scoped validated rule
regeneration, and align regression fixtures with the current runtime and
package integrity contract.
* fix(update): preserve sealed managed handoff startup
Prepare the control database through its existing owner before staging the
standalone helper, then bind the helper to the captured existing identity.
Revalidate before spawn and keep publication dependency resolution lazy so
sealed runtime loading never depends on installation packages or native code.
Register the static OpenGrep fixtures as external Knip inputs. Keep the
Gateway test's synthetic parent alive until its native stop boundary,
preserving notice ordering and production authority checks.
* fix(update): publish control databases with Windows durability
* fix(update): retain executor ownership during service recovery
* fix(update): initialize control storage without optional native bindings
* test(update): align platform and merge workflow fixtures
* test(update): verify settled children and isolate deletion timing
* refactor(qqbot): remove bundled extension source
Mechanical deletion half of the #107295 squashed rebase; the catalog
repoint and host integration land in the follow-up commit.

* refactor(qqbot): install plugin from Tencent package
Squashed rebase of #107295 onto current main. Repoints the official
external channel catalog at @tencent-connect/openclaw-qqbot@2.0.1 and
adapts onboarding, doctor migrations, secrets, build guards, and tests.
Documents the known limitation that the external package does not
support structured SecretRef clientSecret values; operators move those
to QQBOT_CLIENT_SECRET or clientSecretFile before upgrading.

* fix(doctor): reuse shared hasOwnKey record helper
The rebased QQBot migration carried its own hasOwnKey export, colliding
with the one main now ships in legacy-config-record-shared.ts.
Co-authored-by: sliverp <870080352@qq.com>
* fix(plugins): carry catalog integrity through the update bridge
The externalized-bundled-plugin bridge dropped the official catalog's
expectedIntegrity pin, so bundled-user updates installed the external
npm package without integrity verification. The bridge now carries the
pin for the catalog's exact npm spec and both bridge install calls pass
it through; update-channel spec overrides intentionally skip the pin
since it only covers the pinned version.

* chore(plugin-sdk): refresh per-entrypoint API baselines
The QQBot compat export and bundled-type removal shift 26 entrypoint
closure hashes in the new split baseline layout.

* refactor(qqbot): drop helper reintroduced during rebase
Main's coercion consolidation added this file after the deletion
commit's base; its only consumers were the removed qqbot sources.

* refactor(prompt): plain inbound context labels with a provenance marker
Replaces trust-worded inbound context labels ("(untrusted metadata)",
"(untrusted, for context)") with plain labels plus a fixed provenance
marker suffix appended to every OpenClaw-injected context header.
Detection keys on the marker, not label text, so strippers stay correct
across UI, TUI, replay, /trace segmentation, memory recall, and the Swift
chat preprocessor. Drops sanitizeInboundSystemTags in favor of the marker
boundary plus trusted system-prompt narration.
Renames the untrusted-named plugin SDK context identifiers to
channel-provenance names, keeping deprecated aliases registered for
removal after 2026-09-08.
Adds `openclaw doctor --fix` migrations that rewrite legacy inbound
labels in stored SQLite transcripts and purge legacy envelope-
contaminated LanceDB recall rows.
* fix(ci): resolve gate failures for plain inbound context labels
- doctor sqlite readers: open read-only connections via openNodeSqliteDatabase
so the Kysely connection-boundary guardrail holds; unexport the now-internal
transcript snapshot type (Knip unused-export gate).
- compat registry: split the record table into registry-records.ts and
plugin-sdk-subpath-records.ts. The new compat record pushed registry.ts past
the 700-line oxlint cap; suppressions are disallowed, so follow the existing
sibling record-module pattern. Public exports and PluginCompatCode literals
unchanged.
- acp-runtime test: assert current finalization behavior (newline normalization
only). The bracket de-fang and System: rewrite it expected were removed with
sanitizeInboundSystemTags; forged system lines are neutralized at the
system-event queue, the single chokepoint feeding the System:-per-line render.
- regenerate docs_map and the plugin SDK API baseline manifest.
* fix(prompt): harden inbound context label migration and drop in-band sanitizer
Review follow-ups on the plain-label + provenance-marker change:
- Remove src/security/system-tags.ts. Rewriting inbound text to neutralize
look-alike `System:`/`[System]` markers corrupted legitimate user text and is
not a real injection boundary; role separation plus external-content wrapping
is. Explicit product decision, recorded at the system-event queue.
- Narrow the LanceDB legacy-row purge so it cannot delete benign memories. It
now requires a complete known legacy sentinel line, a legacy label followed by
a fenced JSON body, or the complete legacy external-content header. The prior
predicates matched ordinary prose such as `Notes (untrusted metadata):`, and
deletion is irreversible.
- Make explicit-empty canonical ChannelStructuredContext win over the deprecated
alias via a present/absent result instead of collapsing `[]` to undefined.
- Keep `\r?` in the active-memory doctor rule. It is the only rule spanning the
header's line break, migrated assistant rows skip newline normalization, and
without it the marked-header replace wins and the body strips to empty. Added
a CRLF regression test.
- Fix stale comments that described removed behavior, and cover the Swift
prose-block strip path.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01WNzsPddQmxy9Y7jKD4wAxH
Keep queued system-event owner downgrades as structured runtime metadata while rendering the model-visible prompt as plain `System:` lines.
This preserves least-privilege wakeups for webhook/node/exec/cron/reaction/hook producers, keeps legacy `trusted: false` compatibility for installed plugins and older hosts, and updates representative gateway, agent, cron, plugin, and OpenGrep coverage.
Summary:
- The branch adds an opt-in Feishu top-level group-send fallback for withdrawn or missing normal quoted thread replies, plus regression coverage, a changelog entry, and CI/lint typing and baseline refreshes.
- Reproducibility: yes. at source level. Current main hard-errors withdrawn/not-found Feishu reply targets when `replyInThread` is true, and the existing regression test asserts that no top-level create fallback occurs.

* feat(security): add GHSA detector-review pipeline and OpenGrep CI workflows [AI-assisted]
Stand up an end-to-end pipeline that turns every published openclaw GitHub
Security Advisory into a reusable OpenGrep rule, and wire the compiled rules
into manual-dispatch GitHub Actions workflows that publish SARIF to GitHub
Code Scanning.
The pipeline is harness-agnostic: any coding-agent CLI (Rovo Dev, Claude
Code, Codex, OpenCode, or anything you can shell out to) can drive it via
the runner script's --harness flag. Built-in adapters cover the four common
harnesses; --harness-cmd '<template>' supports anything else with shell-style
{prompt}/{model}/{output_file} substitution.
Pipeline pieces:
- scripts/run-ghsa-detector-review-batch.mjs runs your chosen coding harness
in parallel against every advisory using the agent-agnostic detector-review
spec at security/detector-review/detector-review-spec.md. Each case
produces an opengrep general-rule.yml (precise) and broad-rule.yml
(review-aid), plus a coverage-validated report against the vulnerable
commit's changed files.
- scripts/compile-opengrep-rules.mjs walks a run directory, rewrites each
rule's id to ghsa-detector.<ghsa>.<orig-id>, injects ghsa/advisory-url/
detector-bucket/source-rule-id metadata, and uses opengrep itself to drop
rules with InvalidRuleSchemaError so the published super-configs load
cleanly.
Compiled outputs:
- security/opengrep/precise.yml (336 rules)
- security/opengrep/broad.yml (459 rules)
- security/opengrep/compile-manifest.json (per-rule provenance map)
CI workflows (manual workflow_dispatch only):
- .github/workflows/opengrep-precise.yml
- .github/workflows/opengrep-broad.yml
Both install a pinned opengrep, run opengrep scan against src/, upload SARIF
to Code Scanning under categories opengrep-precise / opengrep-broad, and use
continue-on-error: true so findings never block the workflow.
Detector-review spec and assets:
- security/detector-review/detector-review-spec.md the agent-agnostic spec
the runner injects into each per-case prompt
- security/detector-review/references/{detector-rubric,report-template}.md
- security/detector-review/scripts/init_case.py
- security/prompt-suffix-coverage-first.md mandatory prompt addendum that
enforces coverage-first validation (rule must catch the OG vuln, not just
pass synthetic fixtures)
