Speed: - Replace real-time waits with fake time (shared fakeTimeTest helper in test/support/fake_time.dart, which fails runaway zero-delay loops instead of hanging); shrink fixtures larger than their contracts need. Isolation (surfaced once files share an isolate): - Static serialization-queue tails now clear themselves when drained, so a tail created in a finished fake-async zone no longer strands later callers (SecureCredentialStorage, Hermes stores, WebViewCookieHelper, ChatVoiceAudioSessionCoordinator). - Tests set up the state they rely on instead of inheriting it (sheet coverage, preferences, secure storage, discovery pruning). - Decision expiry reads package:clock so tests can drive it; the Hermes detail header no longer turns its shimmer off under any test binding, so its reduced-motion behaviour is testable. - Fix startup-probe races in connectivity tests. Pruning (each candidate checked against its owner and a stronger test): - Remove ~140 redundant or vacuous tests and ~930 lines of production code only tests used (unused validators, the token validator's server path and cache, skeleton widgets, native toolbar encoders, test-only wrappers and Hermes seams). - Repair tests that passed for the wrong reason (interceptor notifications without session stamps, trust-store and prompt-expiry negatives, const equality, the legacy Hive guard's scan roots, sign-out reset targets). - Merge duplicate implementations: ApiErrorHandler.isRetryable delegates to ApiError, and the Hermes and Direct provider-error sanitizers share one implementation (Hermes gains the secret budgets, Direct gains the session-key label). |
