d92b9fea43 fix(claude): discover Claude Desktop/Cowork sessions in Windows MSIX installs
The desktop sessions resolver returned a single per-platform path, so
Microsoft Store (MSIX) installs of Claude Desktop were invisible: their
data lives under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\<Claude package>\LocalCache\Roaming\Claude\local-agent-mode-sessions
and a filesystem junction workaround breaks Cowork's own file access
(reported and verified in #611).

getDesktopSessionsDir() becomes getDesktopSessionsDirs(): an ordered,
deduped candidate list (override, then classic APPDATA, then MSIX packages
matching Claude_* or *.Claude_*, existence-checked, lexicographically
sorted; .config on Linux). Results are memoized per env-input tuple so the
parser's per-file classification never rescans Packages. All call sites
scan every candidate; macOS, Linux and classic Windows behavior unchanged.

* sessions: fold subagent runs into PR attribution

Sidechain (subagent) session cost never reached the by-PR view, so a
session orchestrated on one model with subagent lanes on another showed
only the parent model on every PR row. Fold each sidechain's cost, calls,
models, and categories into the parent turn that spawned it, so it
inherits that turn's PR set under the existing turn-level state machine.

Linkage, in priority order: the spawn result's toolUseResult.agentId
pairs the child's agent id with the Agent/Task tool_use id that launched
it (recorded per turn), which is the true launch point and wins even when
the child's first activity landed during a later turn; else the child's
first-activity timestamp is bucketed into the containing turn span; else
the child folds into the parent's unattributed spend. Children of parents
that referenced no PR, and orphans whose parent is absent from the scan,
contribute nothing, unchanged.

Cache v6 to v7 (neither shipped, so one combined bump from v5): per-turn
spawnToolUseIds, per-file parentSessionId and agentSpawnLinks; the
validator and the append/compact paths thread them like prRefs. By-PR
footers now count parents plus folded subagent runs and the payload gains
an additive subagentSessions field. distinctCost now includes folded
subagent spend, documented in the payload comment.

* sessions: address adversarial review of subagent PR attribution

Rework child attribution to resolve each subagent to the PR its launching
turn was working on, using the parent's UNFILTERED turn data, and enforce
that every dollar is counted exactly once.

- Mutual exclusion: a child that referenced its own PR attributes
  standalone and is never folded; a child with no links is folded only.
  Fixes a double-charge where a self-linking child was both folded and
  self-attributed.
- Recursion: a fold aggregates a child plus its non-self-linking
  descendants (depth-first, cycle-guarded), so grandchildren spawned by
  subagents reach the PR report.
- Global linkage: the subagent index keys by parentSessionId alone
  (UUIDs are globally unique), so a child whose worktree resolves to a
  different project still links.
- Date-range correctness: spawn-to-PR sets are built at assembly from the
  full turn list, so a spawn in a pre-range turn attributes to the right
  PR; a PR-linked parent whose own turns fall out of range is kept as a
  0-cost fold anchor so its in-range child is not lost.
- Timestamp fallback compares epoch ms (mixed UTC offsets order right) and
  is end-bounded: a child active after the parent's last turn is unlinked
  (contributes nothing), matching orphan semantics.
- Cache adoption tries the newest prior versioned file (v6 then v5) so the
  preceding build's expired-PR history survives the v7 bump; an invariant
  note requires the list to cover every version that can exist on disk.
- Spawn-result pairing matches the tool_result block that carries the
  agentId, not the first block, when a record batches several results.
- resolveSubagentAttribution is computed once and shared by aggregateByPr
  and prLinkedTotals.

subagentSessions now counts folded subtrees (children plus descendants).
Verified on real data: attributed + unattributed reconciles to cost, and
parent-only cost plus folded-children cost equals the folded total to the
cent (no double-count).

* sessions: round-2 hardening of subagent PR attribution

Address a second adversarial review of the new machinery.

- ID collision: parents and a child's parent reference are keyed by
  provider + sessionId, not bare sessionId. When two distinct parents
  still share a key (true duplicate/imported data), the child folds into
  NEITHER (deterministic skip, stays standalone): correctness over
  coverage.
- Recursion dedup is global: one claimed-set spans all of a parent's
  direct children, so a descendant reachable through two paths (a diamond
  or duplicate id) folds exactly once and a parent-link cycle terminates.
- Cache adoption migrates every prior version oldest-to-newest and MERGES
  per source path (newer wins per entry), so a sparse or partial newer
  file no longer masks older-only expired-PR orphans.
- Fold anchors (0-cost PR-linked parents kept only for attribution) live
  in a new ProjectSummary.subagentAnchors, never in `sessions`, so they no
  longer contaminate session counts, averages, or any per-session report.
  Folded PR rows take their date span from the contributing child activity
  rather than the anchor's empty timestamps.
- One-pass buildPrAttribution computes rows and totals together; the
  payload builder and CLI call it once. Drops the identity-keyed
  memoization, which could return stale folds if the array was mutated.
- Ambiguous multi-block spawn-result pairing leaves the spawn link unset
  on purpose; the child then folds via the timestamp fallback rather than
  pairing with the wrong id or disappearing.

Every fix is mutation-verified. A fresh real-data drive re-proves the
no-double-count identity to the cent (parent-only cost plus folded cost
equals the folded total) and that the PR rows sum to attributedCost.

* sessions: round-3 hardening of subagent PR attribution

Third adversarial review pass.

- Ambiguity counts ALL candidate parents (and anchors) sharing a
  provider+sessionId key, not just PR-bearing ones, and uses a
  per-record fingerprint: a key carried by more than one DISTINCT record
  folds its child/subtree into NEITHER (identical duplicates still fold
  once). This unifies the parent-collision and duplicate-descendant rules
  and is deterministic across input order.
- Project-rebuilding filters (by day, by date range, by config source)
  now carry subagentAnchors through, and a date filter CONVERTS a spawn
  parent whose in-range turns are all filtered out into an anchor so a
  surviving in-range child still folds. Rebuilt sessions also keep their
  PR + subagent-linkage metadata (prLinks, parentSessionId, spawnPrSets,
  ...), which buildSessionSummary otherwise drops, so by-PR and folding
  work on a filtered slice (menubar/dashboard flow).
- Fold anchors leave ProjectSummary.sessions entirely and folded PR rows
  take their span from the child, so 0-cost anchors never touch session
  counts or averages.
- Ambiguous spawn pairing (parent named the agent but its exact launching
  tool_use could not be paired) is recorded per parent; a late child of
  such a pairing folds to the parent's last turn within a 30 minute grace
  window, else stays unlinked. A truly-absent pairing gets no grace.
- Row session key is NUL-delimited and provider-prefixed, so a project
  name or session id containing a space no longer collides and
  undercounts distinct sessions.

Every fix mutation-verified. A fresh real-data drive re-proves the
no-double-count identity to the cent, and a day-filtered drive proves the
filter fix end to end (anchors created, subagents fold, identity holds).

* sessions: round-4 hardening of subagent PR attribution

Fourth adversarial review pass.

- sessionFingerprint now covers the COMPLETE linkage-relevant payload,
  not just headline stats: a canonical (sorted-key) serialization of
  agentSpawnLinks, spawnPrSets, prRefsAtRangeStart, ambiguousSpawnAgentIds,
  parent/agent identity, and the per-turn prRefs timeline. Two records
  that share an id and headline stats but map the child to different
  spawns/PRs now fingerprint DISTINCT, so the ambiguity rule fires and
  they fold into neither, deterministically rather than order-dependent
  first-wins.
- A date/day filter recomputes prRefsAtRangeStart at the new slice
  boundary by replaying the original full turn sequence, instead of
  copying the wide range's value. A PR switch between the wide start and
  the slice start (July 1 A, July 10 B, slice July 20) now carries B, not
  a stale A; a turn exactly on the boundary stays in-slice and applies its
  own refs. The recompute selects by timestamp, so it is order-independent.
  Non-contiguous day selections are documented as treated contiguous from
  the earliest selected day (a single session-level seed cannot represent
  multiple segments; the menubar selection is a single day or a run).
- The anchor-carry path drops an anchor that duplicates a surviving
  session id, so malformed merged input cannot double-count.

Also: rebuilt filtered sessions were losing their PR/subagent-linkage
metadata (a child its parentSessionId, a parent its prLinks), which
carryLinkageFields now restores, so by-PR and folding work on any filtered
slice.

Every fix mutation-verified. A fresh real-data drive re-proves the
no-double-count identity and reconciliation to the cent for both a
lifetime scan and a day-filtered slice (anchors created, subagents fold
through the filter).

* sessions: round-5 hardening of subagent PR attribution

Fifth adversarial review pass; closed-form fixes.

- sessionFingerprint serializes the COMPLETE fold-determining state via a
  real recursive canonical encoder: session-level linkage AND, per turn in
  sequence, timestamp, prRefs, cost, calls, savings, and per-model cost.
  Object keys are sorted recursively and set-semantic arrays (PR-ref lists,
  ambiguous ids, spawnPrSets values) are sorted, while the turn list keeps
  order; the structure is emitted through JSON.stringify (no delimiter
  concatenation). Two same-id parents that differ only in a turn timestamp
  now fingerprint DISTINCT (fold neither), and records differing only in
  set-array order fingerprint EQUAL (no false ambiguity).
- recomputeRangeStartPrRefs breaks an exact-same-millisecond tie
  deterministically by the lexicographically-last sorted-ref key, so the
  recomputed seed is stable regardless of turn order.
- A day filter seeds EACH selected day's first ref-less turn by replaying
  the original full turn sequence up to that day's start (per-day seeding),
  so a PR switch on an UNSELECTED day between two selected days carries to
  the later day. Contiguous and non-contiguous selections are both correct.
- The anchor dedupe drops an anchor only when a surviving session shares
  the full provider-aware, fingerprint-qualified identity (a proven
  duplicate): a different-provider or different-record same-id session no
  longer wrongly drops the anchor.

Also fixed a double-count the fingerprint test exposed: two duplicate
parent sessions share a key and the SAME resolved children, so folding is
now done once per parent key.

Every fix mutation-verified. Fresh real-data drives (lifetime, single-day,
and a NON-CONTIGUOUS day selection) re-prove no-double-count and
reconciliation to the cent.

sessions: attribute PR spend per turn instead of per session (#790)
* sessions: attribute PR spend per turn instead of per session

The by-PR surfaces attributed a session's full cost to every PR it
referenced, so one orchestration session that touched many PRs rendered
identical full-session rows. Capture per-turn PR references during
transcript parsing and attribute each turn's cost to the PR set active at
that turn (split evenly across a multi-PR merge-sweep turn), carrying the
most recent PR set forward across turns that reference nothing. Turns
before the first reference form an unattributed bucket.

A session whose transcript expired before per-turn capture keeps its
session-level prLinks but has no per-turn refs; it falls back to an even
whole-session split, and any row carrying such a portion is flagged
approximate.

Rows are now summable: the CLI and app footers report the attributed sum
plus the unattributed remainder instead of a distinct-session total.
Bumps the session cache version so surviving transcripts re-parse and
populate the new per-turn field. Daily-cache versioning is untouched.

* sessions: harden PR attribution and add models + category breakdown

Addresses the review findings on the per-turn PR attribution and adds the
model and task-category surfaces.

Correctness:
- Cache migration: the 5 -> 6 session-cache bump now adopts the prior v5
  file's expired-source PR entries instead of abandoning them, and the claude
  scan preserves and surfaces PR-bearing orphans, so a session whose transcript
  was deleted still appears as a legacy even-split instead of vanishing. The
  daily cache is untouched.
- Date-range carry: the parser captures the PR set active at the start of the
  in-range turn slice and seeds the state machine with it, so a PR referenced
  before the window still owns its later, in-range, ref-less turns instead of
  the session falling back to a whole-session approx split.
- Calls are split across a multi-PR turn by largest-remainder, keeping per-PR
  counts whole (a 1-call, 2-PR turn no longer renders as 2 calls).
- The CLI and app footers reconcile to the rounded row values actually shown.
- Distinct sessions are keyed by project + sessionId, not sessionId alone.
- The app tolerates an older by-reference payload (no attributedCost): it keeps
  the old non-summable footer and never renders NaN.

Features:
- Each PR contribution records the models of its calls and the turn's task
  category (split by the same share on a multi-PR turn); legacy even-split rows
  carry the model union but no category breakdown.
- Payload rows gain models (short names, cost-desc) and categories (label + cost,
  cost-desc, omitted when empty); the payload gains otherPrCount/otherPrCost for
  the PRs beyond the sent top 20.
- CLI --by-pr gains a Models column. The desktop table is now full-width with a
  Models column and click-to-expand rows showing a per-category cost breakdown
  with proportional bars, keyboard accessible, with an "Other (N more PRs)" row
  when capped.

Tests: state-machine seed/models/categories/largest-remainder/dedup, the prRefs
round-trip through the real incremental-append path (continuation + straddle),
v5 adoption of an expired PR session, payload round-trip, and the desktop
expansion/models/old-payload cases.

* sessions: reconcile mixed PR rows, harden v5 adoption, bound models

Round-2 review follow-ups.

- Mixed legacy/live category breakdown: a PR row that combines an expired
  legacy contribution (even-split, no turn data) with a live per-turn
  contribution now emits an explicit "Legacy estimate (no per-turn detail)"
  category carrying the legacy share, so the expansion reconciles to the row
  cost instead of silently dropping it. A legacy-only row still shows no
  breakdown.
- v5 adoption is now per cached file: one malformed entry is skipped instead
  of rejecting the whole v5 cache and dropping every valid expired PR session.
- The desktop "Other (N more PRs)" line moved to the table footer as a muted,
  separated summary rather than a sorted row.
- Row expansion resets when the PR set changes (period/provider/data), so a
  stale expansion cannot linger on a row that is gone.
- Payload models per row are capped to the top 4 by attributed cost, with a
  name-ascending tie-break; categories get the same stable tie-break.

Tests: mixed live+legacy reconciliation, legacy-only omission, model cap and
tie-break, corrupt-plus-valid v5 adoption, and the desktop expansion-reset.

* session-cache: validate optional agentType and failed during v5 adoption; app: reset PR expansion on period switch

A v5 entry that was valid except for a malformed optional field (agentType,
failed) passed per-file validation and flowed downstream as a non-string.
The expansion reset keyed only on the row URL set, so a period switch that
returned the same PRs kept a stale expansion open over changed numbers.

Part 1 (src): expose two add-only, optional aggregations on the menubar
payload's `current`, computed on the unscoped all-provider path from the
surviving-session parse (carried history cannot contribute, as expected).

- current.pullRequests: aggregateByPr rows (top 20 by cost) plus the
  multi-link-safe distinctCost/distinctSessions. Rows are by-reference, so
  they are never summed.
- current.byBranch: new aggregateByBranch, per-branch spend (top 15 by cost)
  that carries each session's last-seen git branch forward across its turns.
  The cache stores a turn's branch only when it changes, so the parser now
  resolves the branch at reconstruction (before the date slice) and records
  SessionSummary.everHadBranch from the full transcript. That lets the report
  keep a branch-bearing session's pre-branch spend in an explicit null row
  even when the range clipped the anchor turn, while a provider that never
  captures a branch still contributes nothing.

Part 2 (app): new "Pull requests" sidebar entry between Sessions and Spend
(shortcuts reflow to number 8 for Plans). It renders the pullRequests rows as
a refined table with the PR label linking out via openExternal, cost,
sessions, calls and an active-date span, plus a footnote stating the distinct
total and the by-reference attribution. A quiet explanatory line shows when no
PR links exist, never a fake table.

Tests: aggregateByBranch unit tests (carry-forward, null bucket, clipped
anchor, by-reference session counts) and the Pull requests component tests
(table, external link, footnote, both empty states). Nav-reflow assertions in
Sidebar and App tests updated.

sessions: thread captured titles onto SessionSummary and the report (#782)
Same threading as prLinks: the cache-level title (last ai-title entry)
rides onto SessionSummary in both the Claude and generic provider
pipelines, and the sessions table gains a TITLE column (truncated at 38
chars, empty when a transcript never produced one, as subagent
transcripts typically do not). JSON rows carry it verbatim. Groundwork
for titles in the context browser, desktop Sessions view, and payload.

sessions: spend per pull request via --by-pr (#780)
The rich session capture (#758) stores every PR URL a transcript
references, but nothing displayed it. codeburn sessions --by-pr now
groups spend by pull request: cost, savings, sessions, calls, and the
date span per PR, sorted by cost, with a GitHub-shortened label and
json output. Attribution is by reference, so a session that mentions
several PRs counts fully toward each row; the footer reports the
distinct-session total so overlapping rows are never mistaken for a
grand total. prLinks now ride from the cached file onto SessionSummary
in both the Claude pipeline and the generic provider path.

parser: full re-parse when an appended region restates a cached message id (#772)
The incremental-append path groups the appended region before the file's
own cached keys join the dedup set, so a streamed assistant id restated
across the append boundary counted twice, and the boundary merge could
splice it into the wrong turn (reproduced on real image-heavy sessions:
one id streamed across several records over seconds, 111 calls vs the
110 a full re-parse yields). Suppressing the restatement instead would
freeze the stale first emission, so neither shortcut matches a full
re-parse. On any id overlap between the appended entries and the cached
turns the shortcut is abandoned and the file re-parses from byte 0.
Rare (about 0.3 percent of real files) and bounded to one file per
refresh. Regression test uses the cold-reparse oracle; mutation-verified
against the unguarded code.

* lock: serialize the fence against the owner's own heartbeat

verifyStillOwner and the heartbeat tick both take the takeover guard;
without in-process serialization the fence could observe its own
heartbeat's guard file, read it as displacement, and abort a legitimate
publication. Fail-safe, but it discarded the parse the lock exists to
protect (~6% of verifies at a 1ms heartbeat in the repro). Owner-side
guard operations now run through one serializer; cross-process guard
semantics are unchanged. Regression test at heartbeatMs 1, mutation-
verified against the unserialized code.

bdb1475251 feat(quickdesk): Amazon Quick Desktop provider, parse ~/.quickwork sessions and metrics (#707)
Adds an eager provider for Amazon Quick Desktop (aws.amazon.com/quick/desktop),
which stores local data under ~/.quickwork. Usage source of truth is the
per-day EMF metrics JSONL (Model, InputTokens, OutputTokens, CostUSD,
session_id); real CostUSD passes through the cache like kiro/devin/hermes.
sessions.db (SQLite, read-only) enriches calls with titles, first user
message, and tool names, and provides estimated usage (quickdesk-auto,
costIsEstimated) for sessions that predate metrics coverage. Multi-profile
layout via profiles.json entries plus the migrated legacy root; honors
QUICKWORK_HOME; schema-tolerant (sqlite_master and PRAGMA introspection,
per-line JSONL error isolation). The on-disk schema is reverse-engineered and
documented as such in docs/providers/quickdesk.md.

ae18b1fd91 fix: audit batch — prefetch one-shot, turn-anchored day bucketing, warm-path collapse
- prefetch fires exactly once per provider per session; memo sized to
  detected providers so base keys never evict (was: 12 full-history
  parses every 30s forever from LRU thrash re-triggering the effect)
- day-aggregator buckets whole turns by user-message timestamp,
  matching the report/headline path: trend bars and provider breakdown
  now reconcile exactly (midnight-straddling turns were split);
  DAILY_CACHE_VERSION 13 with an IANA tz guard that rehydrates when
  the cache crosses timezones
- overview's redundant second all-provider scan collapsed (~11% faster
  warm); numbers parity-guarded
- lock takeover cleans stale hydrating.lock; SIGINT/SIGTERM release it
- scanner skips EPERM/EACCES provider dirs (progress shows skipped)
  instead of aborting; onboarding hints Full Disk Access
- rateLimited quota copy render tests; export -f json emits valid
  empty JSON when no data

Root 2023 (+4), app 327 (+3), typechecks clean.

e9655fa03c fix: hydration completeness markers, cold-only splash, honest switching, prefetch
P0: an interrupted cold hydration left partial caches that the
emptiness check read as warm — the daily backfill froze (missing older
days) while session parsing healed gradually (drifting totals),
poisoning every surface sharing the cache. Both caches now carry an
explicit complete marker: partial resumes cold under the hydration
lock; unmarked caches self-heal with one re-hydration. Regression test
seeds the exact frozen artifact and asserts bit-for-bit convergence
with a never-interrupted run.

- splash indexing reveals only on genuinely cold scans (explicit cold
  flag in the progress protocol), never on warm incremental re-parses
- uncached filter switches clear to skeleton instead of showing the
  previous filter's numbers; cached switches paint same-commit;
  background prefetch warms every detected provider after idle
- build stamp (git sha + date) in splash and About ends build ambiguity
- payload parity test: identical payloads on identical cache, and
  payload totals equal the CLI report path
- Sessions empty state keeps the provider filter row; zero savings
  line hidden; TCC usage-description strings + Full Disk Access docs
- warm profile documented: optimize scan ~1.47s dominant (safe
  refactor deferred), parse ~1s, aggregation ~30ms

- CODEBURN_PROGRESS=1 emits newline-JSON progress on stderr (provider
  list, per-provider start/done, per-file ticks) for GUI first-run
  loaders; plain CLI output untouched
- parseAllSessions saves the session cache atomically every 5s during
  hydration and after each provider group, so an interrupted cold scan
  leaves a warm partial cache instead of nothing
- status --no-timeline skips the granular timeline computation
  (~300-450ms per call) for clients that never render it; default
  unchanged for the menubar

* fix(report): surface estimated costs distinctly

Providers that estimate tokens or price (kiro, cursor, warp, copilot,
grok, hermes, codewhale, and the codex proxy path) set costIsEstimated
on their parsed calls, but the flag died at the parser boundary: it was
never carried onto ParsedApiCall or into the session aggregates, so a
figure whose tokens were synthesized from content length rendered with
the same authority as a metered one.

Plumb the truth through, mirroring the savingsUSD/isLocalSavings pattern:
a call-level boolean (ParsedApiCall.isEstimated, CachedCall.isEstimated,
persisted so it survives the session-cache round trip) and an additive
aggregate amount (estimatedCostUSD on the model breakdown, session, and
project totals, plus PeriodData and the menubar payload). The amount is
carried rather than a bare boolean so a row that is mostly metered with a
small estimated slice is not indistinguishable from a fully guessed one.

Display: report (TUI) and overview per-model rows prefix the cost with a
tilde and print one legend line; the MCP tables carry the same marker and
legend, and the machine surfaces (report --json, MCP get_usage, menubar /
web payload) expose estimatedCostUSD. Totals math is unchanged; the flag
is display/metadata only.

Bump PROVIDER_PARSE_VERSIONS for every provider that sets the flag so
already-cached sessions reparse once and pick it up. Copilot is excluded:
it is a durable provider, so changing its env fingerprint would discard
OTel cache entries whose source rows may already be pruned.

Also fix the cross-provider project merge, which summed totalCostUSD but
dropped merged-in projects' totalEstimatedCostUSD, undercounting the
project/period estimated total (the same latent gap still affects
totalSavingsUSD, left untouched here).

* test(parser): pin estimated dollars through the cross-provider merge

The merge fix for dropped totalEstimatedCostUSD was not covered: deleting
the summing line left every test green. Extract the merge into an exported
mergeProjectsByCrossProviderKey (no behavior change) and pin both the
measured-plus-estimated and both-estimated merge cases.

* docs(parser): honest merge-comment scope and load-bearing overwrite note

Re-review nits: the merge doc claimed all additive totals are summed there
while totalSavingsUSD still is not (pre-existing gap, tracked separately)
and totalProxiedCostUSD is re-derived post-merge; say so. Mark the
buildPeriodData overwrite in usage-aggregator as load-bearing for the
estimated marker so nobody optimizes it away trusting the daily cache.

* fix(copilot): bill CLI input and cache tokens from session.shutdown

Copilot CLI sessions (~/.copilot/session-state/*/events.jsonl) recorded
only outputTokens, because the parser read assistant.message events and
ignored the session.shutdown rollup. That rollup is the sole on-disk
source of a CLI session's input, cache-read and cache-write tokens, so
cost was underreported (in the reported case 35k+ cache-read tokens were
dropped entirely).

Handle session.shutdown in the CLI (non-transcript) JSONL path and emit
one supplementary call per model from modelMetrics.<model>.usage. The
per-turn assistant.message events keep owning output tokens, tools and
turn structure; the shutdown call contributes only the input and cache
tokens they lack, with output excluded, so no dimension double-counts and
the combined cost equals the full CLI-measured cost. usage.inputTokens is
cache-inclusive (input + cache_read + cache_write), so the cache
components are subtracted to recover the uncached input calculateCost
expects. These are real counts written by the CLI, so costIsEstimated is
false. Sessions without session.shutdown (crashed or still running) keep
the exact previous output-only behavior, and the VS Code, JetBrains and
OTel paths are untouched.

Bump the copilot entry in PROVIDER_PARSE_VERSIONS so already-cached CLI
sessions re-parse and pick up the corrected tokens and cost.

* fix(copilot): never emit an empty-timestamp shutdown call

A session.shutdown without its own timestamp and without sessionStartTime
produced a call with an empty timestamp, which the date-range filters in
parser.ts drop silently, erasing exactly the tokens this feature bills.
Fall back to the last stamped event in the session.

* fix(cache): durable orphans survive provider fingerprint changes

Bumping a durable provider's PROVIDER_PARSE_VERSIONS changed its env
fingerprint, and getOrCreateProviderSection replaced the whole section on
mismatch. For copilot OTel orphans the discarded cache entry is the only
remaining record of pruned spans, so the first post-upgrade run silently
and permanently erased month-to-date history. Carry forward exactly the
entries whose source no longer exists; present sources still drop and
re-parse under the new fingerprint, which is the point of a bump.

Regression test forges a pre-upgrade fingerprint on a pruned-source
orphan and asserts it stays counted and cached across the transition.

Claude Code's advisor tool (/advisor) escalates hard decisions mid-turn
to a stronger model. Those tokens are recorded inside
message.usage.iterations as advisor_message entries with their own model
and are excluded from the top-level message.usage totals. The parser read
only the top-level totals, so advisor spend was silently dropped and never
attributed to the advisor model.

Emit a separate call per advisor_message iteration priced under the
advisor model, preserve those iterations through entry compaction and the
large-line (>32KB) byte-scanner path, and fold advisor cost into the guard
budget. Bump the claude parser and guard cache versions so existing caches
re-parse and pick up the advisor spend.

* test(guard): pin advisor cost fold in the live budget

The guard's advisor fold in computeSessionUsage had no test; dropping
advisorCost from the line cost left all 30 guard tests green. Pins the
fold (advisor line costs more than the same line without iterations)
and the per-message replace semantics under streaming rewrites.

7dcd618898 kiro: preserve credit-based cost through the session cache
providerCallToCachedCall drops provider-computed costUSD unless the
provider is allowlisted, and cachedCallToApiCall then re-prices from
token counts. Kiro's cost now comes from metered credits, which token
pricing cannot reproduce — reports were understating real kiro spend
~18x (e.g. $130.72 of metered CLI credits reported as $7.20 of token
estimates). Add kiro to the pass-through allowlist, same as the other
platform-billed providers (mistral-vibe, devin, hermes, ...).

Both persistence layers froze pre-fix dollar values and neither
self-invalidates (historical session files never change), so bump:

- session cache: CACHE_VERSION 4 -> 5 (cached kiro entries carry
  costUSD: undefined and would keep being token re-priced forever)
- daily cache: DAILY_CACHE_VERSION 10 -> 11 with MIN_SUPPORTED_VERSION
  raised (finalized days carry token-estimated kiro costs off by up to
  16x per model), same as the v10 cursor precedent

Test: end-to-end through parseAllSessions — a CLI fixture with 2.5
metered credits must report $0.10; fails with the token re-price
($0.000048) when the allowlist entry is removed.

Docs: document the pricing contract in docs/providers/kiro.md — metered
credit cost is frozen at parse time, so price-override / model-alias
do not affect kiro dollar amounts (shared tradeoff of all allowlisted
providers).

6b6b6b8df6 feat(menubar): Claude config selector, hardened (supersedes #635)
Scopes the menubar to one Claude config for multi-config (CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIRS)
setups, with All as the default. Rebased onto main and fixed the review
findings from the original #635:

- Fix a TS2206 build break (a 'type' modifier inside an import type block).
- Reject --claude-config-source with a non-Claude --provider, and scan Claude
  only in the scoped branch (a config is Claude-only): fixes provider data
  leaking into a scoped query and avoids parsing every provider's corpus.
- Scope the macOS menu-bar figure to the selected config (badge matched the
  popover), clear the selection when switching to a non-Claude provider tab,
  and stop the on-disk badge fallback from showing an unscoped number while
  scoped.
- Tag Claude Desktop / Cowork sessions as their own 'claude-desktop' source so
  they are a selectable bucket instead of silently vanishing from per-config
  views (sum of options now equals All).
- Skip the redundant Claude discovery walk for plain single-config users while
  keeping idle configs and Claude Desktop selectable.

Reviewed by Codex 5.6; all findings addressed. Full suite: 1581 TS tests, 76
Swift tests, tsc clean.

2914ea66a6 fix(parser): keep scan-progress out of the interactive dashboard and compare TUIs
The cold-scan progress line was gated only on stderr.isTTY, which is also
true when the interactive dashboard and `codeburn compare` render Ink to
the same terminal — so the \r progress line printed over their frame and
garbled the screen (confirmed under a PTY). isTTY alone can't tell an Ink
UI apart from a plain CLI command.

Gate on an explicit 'interactive Ink UI is live' flag instead: the two
interactive entrypoints call setInteractiveScanUI() before they render, so
their scans (and the dashboard's 30s auto-refresh, including the
getPlanUsages -> parseAllSessions path) stay silent, while plain CLI
commands (overview, export, status) still show progress. Verified under a
PTY: dashboard and compare silent, overview shows progress, piped/non-TTY
silent. Adds a gate unit test covering the interactive-active, plain-TTY,
non-TTY, threshold, and finish()-clear cases.

A cold-cache scan over a large ~/.claude/projects tree (hundreds of
project dirs, e.g. a git-worktree-per-task workflow) ran long enough to
look hung and CPU-heavy enough on a single thread to visibly compete
with anything else running interactively. scanProjectDirs now emits a
`\r`-updated progress line (TTY-gated, so piped/captured output is
untouched) and yields to the event loop every 25 items during both the
directory-discovery and file-parsing passes.

Verified against a real ~934-dir / ~18k-session cold cache: 51s wall at
60% CPU with visible progress, vs. a previously silent single-threaded
block. Warm-cache totals unchanged; full test suite and tsc still pass.

be2470d0e5 fix(guard): dedupe streaming message copies in the incremental cost fold
Claude Code rewrites each assistant message several times as it streams,
every copy carrying the full final usage; the shipped parser dedupes these
last-wins (dedupeStreamingMessageIds) but the guard fold summed every line,
measuring real sessions at 2.5-2.8x their true cost and false-blocking the
hard cap at roughly 40% of the configured spend.

- The session cache now maps message id -> that id's cost contribution and
  each id-carrying line replaces its previous contribution; id-less lines
  keep plain adds. Validated against two real transcripts (90MB and 116MB):
  guard totals now equal the shipped deduped totals exactly.
- Replace semantics also self-heal the trailing-line case: a complete final
  line without its newline is folded but byteOffset stops before it, so the
  next invocation re-reads it as a replace, not a double add.
- editCount becomes a set-once sawEdit boolean so duplicate copies of an
  edit tool_use cannot inflate it; cache schema bumped to v2 (old caches
  cold-reparse once).
- Per-session state moves to guard/sessions/ so a session id can never
  collide with the shared flags.json, dropping the doAllow special case.
- The git-commit detector now requires commit as the git subcommand at a
  command boundary (start of string or line, or ; & |), with intra-command
  gaps that never cross newlines: 'git log --grep commit' and
  'git diff && echo commit' no longer match, while newline-separated
  'git add ...\ngit commit' in multi-line Bash calls now does (verified as
  a real false negative on a live transcript).
- Corrected the statusline protocol note: each stdout line renders as its
  own row; we emit exactly one.
- New tests: streaming-duplicate fixtures (3x identical, growing last-wins,
  incremental replace) asserted equal to a cold shipped-parser computation,
  the trailing-partial-line scenario, the commit-detector matrix, and a
  stale-plan test proving guard-install plans carry expectedHash (a
  concurrent settings edit aborts the apply and survives). The act list CLI
  spawn test now anchors to the repo root from the test file location.

an effort suffix (gpt-5-3-codex-xhigh). getShortModelName is keyed in dot form
(gpt-5.3-codex), and its version-boundary check matches the dash id against the
base gpt-5 entry, collapsing every Devin GPT variant to GPT-5.

Normalize the dash form to canonical dot form, map through the short-name table,
and surface the effort tier, e.g. GPT-5.3 Codex (xhigh). Fall back to the
friendly model_name when generation_model is an opaque MODEL_* id, and read
extra.generation_model so ATIF v1.7 transcripts behave like v1.4. Devin rows
in the JSON report and model-efficiency now key on the friendly name.

* fix(devin): stop dated GPT snapshots being mislabeled as versions

The friendly-name path treated any two-number dash id (gpt-4-1106-preview) as a
dotted minor version, producing corrupt labels like 'GPT-4.1106 Preview'.

- Restrict the dash-to-dot rewrite to a single-digit minor at a token boundary,
  matching Devin's real ids (gpt-5-3-codex) while leaving dated snapshots alone.
- In getFriendlyGptName, defer to getShortModelName when any suffix token is
  purely numeric, so unknown snapshot ids pass through raw instead of being
  fabricated into a fake friendly name.

Adds a regression case (gpt-4-1106-preview) to the Devin variant matrix.

* chore: remove accidental node_modules symlink

An absolute-path node_modules symlink was committed by mistake. It leaked a
local username, was a dangling symlink for everyone else, and broke git/npm on
checkout (git won't replace a real node_modules/ with the symlink). It slipped
past .gitignore because the ignore rule is 'node_modules/' with a trailing
slash, which matches a directory but not a symlink.

Populate OpenCode skills and subagents breakdowns (#557)
The Skills & Agents panel was always empty for OpenCode sessions even
when skills and subagents were used. buildAssistantCall (shared by the
OpenCode SQLite and file-based parsers, and Kilo Code) counted the
skill/task tool invocations but never read the skill name or subagent
type from the tool-call input, so the dedicated breakdowns had no names
to aggregate.

In OpenCode's part files the identifier lives in state.input: the skill
tool carries input.name and the task tool carries input.subagent_type.
Extract both in buildAssistantCall and surface them on
ParsedProviderCall.skills / .subagentTypes, then stop hard-coding
skills: [] in providerCallToTurn and providerCallToCachedCall so the
classifier's subCategory and the subagent breakdown receive the data.

Verified against real OpenCode data: the previously empty skills[] and
subagents[] now populate (pipeline-investigation, plan-spec, splunk, ...
and explore/general subagents).

Reads session-level usage from Hermes SQLite state databases
(~/.hermes/state.db and per-profile state.dbs). Tracks input,
output, cache read/write, reasoning tokens, stored costs, tools,
shell commands, and inferred projects.

- Provider reads both root and profile state databases
- Cost fallback: actual_cost_usd > estimated_cost_usd > LiteLLM pricing
- inferProject filters to user/system messages only
- Discovery query capped at LIMIT 10000
- sanitizeProject handles repeated leading separators
- All five review items from PR #386 addressed
- Tested against real Hermes data (557MB state.db with 198 sessions)

Closes #368. Supersedes #386.

Show real Claude project leaf names; stop stray-.git over-grouping (#540)
The 'By Project' panel collapsed sibling Claude Code projects to a parent
folder in two cases:

1) resolveCanonicalProjectPath walked up to ANY ancestor .git and used it as
   the canonical project. A stray .git in a parent of several projects (a
   dotfiles bare repo, an accidental git init) made every sibling resolve to
   that parent ('Projects'/'home'). Now only a real linked worktree (.git is a
   FILE pointing at <main>/.git/worktrees/<name>) canonicalizes to its main
   repo; an ordinary repo or a stray ancestor .git keeps the session's own cwd
   as the project. Genuine worktree grouping is preserved.

2) When a Claude session has no cwd metadata, the dir slug was unsanitized by
   replacing every '-' with '/', inventing path segments that overview then
   split on, so 'Projects-Content-OS' rendered as 'os'. The lossy slug is now
   kept intact, and overview only basenames ABSOLUTE paths.

9917a8a181 refactor(copilot): apply review fixes to OTel parsing PR #477
Maintainer review fixes on top of the OTel cache-token work:

- Remove all DEBUG_OTEL console.warn scaffolding from parser.ts and
  copilot.ts (gated but unlike the rest of the codebase).
- Parameterize the spans IN (...) query instead of string-interpolating
  trace IDs.
- Fold the per-chat-span metadata query into the trace-span query to drop
  the N+1 (one query per chat span -> one per conversation).
- Guard epochToISO against null/NaN/0 so a malformed start_time_ms row no
  longer throws on new Date(NaN).toISOString().
- Remove dead code: parseSpanAttributes, OTelSpanRow, and the unreachable
  `if (!db) return`; drop unused catch bindings.
- Note in parseProviderSources that the non-durable append path assumes
  unique source paths.
- Document the OTel source in docs/providers/copilot.md: Node 22+
  requirement, durable-cache monotonic totals, and the one-time
  parse-version cache reset on upgrade.

never sees workflow agents. Shown in `report --format json` (claudeAgentTypes)
and a "Claude Agent Types" dashboard panel that renders only when Claude agent
transcripts exist, so it never appears for the other providers.

aa07d5c939 fix(parser): count workflow/ultracode subagent usage (#470)
collectJsonlFiles only read agent transcripts directly under `subagents/`, but
the workflow feature nests them at `subagents/workflows/<wf>/agent-*.jsonl`, so
their tokens were dropped — undercounting whenever workflow/ultracode was on.
Walk the `subagents/` subtree recursively. Verified on real data: a workflow-
using project recovered ~16% of its cost, with no change to other projects.

f0768d4c32 fix(parser): isolate Claude per-file parse failures
The per-file failure isolation #441 added to the provider path was missing on
the Claude path: a throw in groupIntoTurns/canonicalization propagated up and
emptied the whole daily-history backfill. Wrap the per-file parse in try/catch
+ a failed marker, mirroring the provider path; one bad file no longer wipes
the trend.

e7c0e21846 fix(vercel-gateway): route network sources through aggregation
The synthetic source path has no on-disk file, so fingerprintFile returned
null and parseProviderSources dropped the source before parsing — the provider
always reported $0 even with a key set. Add a `network` provider flag; such
sources skip the fingerprint gate, re-fetch each run with a synthetic
fingerprint, and keep the gateway's reported cost (instead of recomputing from
tokens, which would be $0 for any model codeburn can't price). Adds an
end-to-end test through parseAllSessions.

feat(pricing): proxy-aware cost attribution for subscription-backed Claude (#417) (#459)
Claude Code routed through a GitHub-Copilot-backed proxy (ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL
-> claude-code-over-github-copilot / claudegate) costs ~$0 marginal but was
priced at full Anthropic API rates, producing a misleading cost figure. The
JSONL records only the model name and no endpoint, so proxying cannot be
auto-detected; the user declares it.

Add a `proxyPaths` config (managed via a new `codeburn proxy-path` subcommand)
listing project directories served through a subscription proxy. Sessions whose
canonical path is under one keep their full API-rate totalCostUSD (the billable
would-be figure is never destroyed) and additionally report totalProxiedCostUSD,
so the JSON report overview exposes cost / proxiedCost / netCost
(netCost = cost - proxiedCost). With no proxyPaths configured the new fields are
0 and every existing consumer is unchanged.

Design: "full cost, flagged" was chosen over zeroing cost so a misconfigured or
since-changed path can never silently erase real Anthropic spend. Attribution is
project-level (one canonical path per project), computed in a single helper
(summarizeProject) that all ProjectSummary builders route through, including the
cross-provider merge in parseAllSessions (re-derived from the merged total so a
repo used with both Claude and Codex stays correct). The in-memory session-cache
key folds in a proxy-config hash so toggling proxyPaths in a long-lived process
cannot serve stale attribution. Path matching is segment-boundary anchored
(/foo does not match /foobar), trailing-slash and backslash tolerant, leading-
slash agnostic (so a non-Claude provider's slash-stripped path matches the same
way Claude's absolute path does), and case-folded only on case-insensitive
filesystems (macOS/Windows, not Linux). The proxy-path CLI sanitizes a
hand-edited config.json (non-array / non-string entries) rather than crashing.

Tested: isProxiedPath matching matrix (boundary, case, Windows, empty, root,
multi-path, leading-slash form); config-hash distinctness/order-independence;
end-to-end attribution through parseAllSessions incl. the critical negative
cases (real spend must not be zeroed); cross-provider Claude+Codex merge;
Codex-only project under a proxy path; date-range-filtered attribution;
cache-staleness after a config change; and the proxy-path CLI add/list/remove,
malformed-config robustness, and the report --format json overview.

Scope note: proxiedCost/netCost currently surface in `report --format json`
only; wiring them into the TUI dashboard and menubar payload is a follow-up.

re-homed there; config.ts keeps both new fields; parser.ts keeps both imports;
redact.ts session details carry savingsUSD.

fix(parser): cache parse failures so broken files aren't re-read every run (#441 follow-up) (#453)

Follow-up to #450. When a session file throws during parse it was excluded but
left uncached, so every refresh (~4x/min in the menubar) re-read and re-parsed
it, and only the first failing file per provider was ever surfaced.

- Add a negative-result marker: a failed file is cached as { fingerprint,
  turns: [], failed: true }. reconcileFile treats it as 'unchanged' at the same
  fingerprint, so it's skipped (no re-read) until the file changes. Empty turns
  => contributes no usage.
- Warn per offending file (with its path), capped at 5 per provider per run,
  instead of once-per-provider — so a systemic break surfaces more than one file
  without flooding. Cached markers keep it quiet across refreshes.

Tests: marker round-trips through save/load; reconcile stays 'unchanged' at the
same fingerprint and re-parses when the file changes.

fix(parser): tolerate string message content; isolate per-file parse failures (#441) (#450)

Some agents (Pi, and others for injected turns) write a message's `content`
as a string instead of an array of blocks. Parsers did `(content ?? []).filter`,
which throws on a string — and because the daily-cache backfill swallowed parse
errors, one bad session silently wiped the entire trend/history.

- Add normalizeContentBlocks(): string -> one text block, array -> as-is (by
  reference; drops null/undefined elements so the same crash can't happen one
  level down), else -> []. Applied across pi/codex/droid/cursor-agent and the
  Claude path in parser.ts.
- Isolate per-file parse failures in parseProviderSources: skip the offending
  file (warn once per provider) instead of re-throwing and aborting the whole
  backfill. The stale cache entry is already cleared, so the file is excluded.
- Surface backfill failures in hydrateCache via stderr instead of silently
  returning an empty cache.

Likely fixes #425 (previous-day always 0) for the throwing-file cause.
Tests: content-utils unit tests + a Pi string-content regression test.

8ded6ad6fd feat(cli): track local-model cost savings against a paid baseline (#421)
Add a new `localModelSavings` config and `codeburn model-savings` CLI
that maps a local-model name (e.g. llama3.1:8b) to a paid baseline
(e.g. gpt-4o). The local call still costs $0; the new `savingsUSD`
field tracks the counterfactual spend avoided by running locally and
is reported separately from `costUSD` everywhere a number is shown.

* Parser normalization (`applyLocalModelSavings`) runs on Claude
  parse, direct provider calls, and the cached-call path. It forces
  `costUSD` to 0 and attaches `savingsUSD` + `savingsBaselineModel`
  + `isLocalSavings` on the `ParsedApiCall`. Local-savings wins for
  actual cost even when the same model is also in `modelAliases`.
* Session, project, day, model, category, activity, skill, and
  subagent rollups all carry `savingsUSD` alongside `costUSD`.
* `status --format json` adds `today.savings` and `month.savings`.
* `status --format menubar-json` adds a `current.localModelSavings`
  block (totalUSD, calls, byModel, byProvider) plus savings on
  topModels, topProjects, topSessions, topActivities, and history
  daily entries. Schema fields default-decode for backward compat.
* `report --format json` adds savings across overview/daily/
  projects/models/activities/skills/subagents/topSessions, with
  the active paid baseline name on each model row.
* `models` command gains a `Saved` column on table/markdown/CSV
  and a `savingsUSD`/`savingsBaselineModel` pair in JSON. Default
  `--min-cost 0.01` filter now ORs in `savingsUSD >= minCost` so
  local models with $0 actual cost but >0 savings still surface.
* CSV/JSON exports add a `Saved (CODE)` column on summary/daily/
  models/projects/sessions.
* Dashboard TUI shows a green 'saved $X by local models' footer
  line in the overview when any savings are present.
* macOS Swift payload gains a `LocalModelSavings` Codable block
  and savings fields on every model/activity/session/daily
  struct. Hero shows a green leaf 'Saved $X' caption, models
  section gets a green `Saved` column. `swift build` clean.
* GNOME indicator adds 'saved $X' to the hero meta line and a
  `codeburn-model-saved` column to the model row.
* Daily cache schema bumped to v8 (`savingsUSD` on day/model/
  category/provider). `savingsConfigHash` invalidates the cache
  when the user changes their baseline mapping so historical
  saved-spend numbers never lie about a stale baseline.
* Defensive `Object.hasOwn` lookup in `getLocalSavingsBaseline`
  blocks the prototype-pollution test that previously surfaced via
  the savings path with a hostile `__proto__` model name.
* New tests (5 files, 25 tests, 549 lines) cover pricing helpers,
  end-to-end parser normalization, day aggregator savings,
  menubar payload savings, CLI set/list/remove, and
  daily-cache hash invalidation. Existing tests for daily-cache
  / day-aggregator / models-report updated for the new fields.
  Full vitest suite: 1028/1028 passing across 73 test files.
  `tsc --noEmit` clean. `npm run build` clean.
  (Note: `mac/Tests` has a pre-existing `no such module 'Testing'`
  environment error on the installed Swift toolchain, confirmed
  on `main` before this PR; not caused by these changes.)

* feat(claude): group Cowork sessions by space name instead of sanitized path

Claude Desktop local-agent-mode (Cowork) sessions were appearing as
separate projects with cryptic sanitized-path names like
`-Users-carlo-Library-Application-Support-Claude-...`. This meant
sessions from the same Cowork space (e.g. PhD_Thesis) showed up as
dozens of unrelated entries.

Changes:
- `discoverSessions()` detects paths inside the desktop sessions dir
  (`~/Library/Application Support/Claude/local-agent-mode-sessions`)
  and resolves the human-readable space name by reading the sibling
  `local_<id>.json` (for spaceId) and `spaces.json` (id → name map)
- `CODEBURN_DESKTOP_SESSIONS_DIR` env var overrides the desktop path
  for testability
- Sessions without a spaceId fall back to `userSelectedFolders[0]`
  basename, then the session title (instead of the unintelligible slug)
- `isCoworkOutputPath()` in parser.ts prevents the ephemeral
  `outputs/` cwd from being used as the canonical project key,
  which would have given every session a unique grouping key
- Parse-version bump (`cowork-space-grouping-v1`) invalidates stale
  cache so all files re-scan with the new logic on first run
- 5 new integration tests covering spaceId grouping, cross-space
  separation, folder fallback, title fallback, and no-metadata fallback

* test: use generic Project1/Project2/SubFolder names in cowork tests

* fix(parser): detect container-mode Cowork sessions by file path, not just cwd

Cowork sessions run in two modes:
- Local-mode: cwd is an ephemeral per-session outputs/ dir inside the
  desktop sessions directory — already handled.
- Container-mode: session runs inside Docker, so cwd is a container-local
  path like /sessions/<adjective-name> that does not exist on the host.
  The JSONL file still lives inside the desktop sessions directory, so we
  detect these by also checking the file path.

Rename isCoworkOutputPath → isCoworkSession and check both cwd and filePath.
Without this, container-mode sessions leaked their Docker cwd as the
canonical project path and showed as e.g. "sessions/trusting-inspiring-ri"
instead of grouping under the Cowork space name.

Also add a test covering the container-mode case and use generic names
(Project1, Project2, SubFolder) throughout the Cowork test suite.

* feat(parser): merge same-project sessions across AI providers by path

When a repository has sessions from multiple tools (e.g. both Claude Code
and Codex), parseAllSessions now groups them into a single ProjectSummary
instead of showing duplicate entries.

The previous outer merge keyed on p.project (a string name), so Claude's
"LibricicloAgain" and Codex's "Users-carlo-Desktop-LibricicloAgain" were
treated as different projects despite referring to the same directory.

The root cause is that Codex's sanitizeProject() strips the leading '/'
from cwds, producing "Users/carlo/Desktop/foo" instead of
"/Users/carlo/Desktop/foo". The new crossProviderKey normalises both by
stripping leading slashes and lowercasing before comparison. Non-path
identifiers (like Cowork space names: "PhD_Thesis") have no '/' and fall
back to comparing the project name, so they are unaffected.

* feat(parser): resolve other-provider worktrees before cross-provider merge

Codex (and similar tools) store worktrees under paths like
~/.codex/worktrees/<hash>/Repo. These were not being resolved to their
main-repo path because canonicalizeProviderCallProject only operates on
call.projectPath, which Codex doesn't set — the project is inferred from
the session source slug instead.

Fix: before the cross-provider merge in parseAllSessions, run worktree
resolution on each non-Claude ProjectSummary's projectPath. Restore the
missing leading '/' (Codex strips it via sanitizeProject) before calling
resolveCanonicalProjectPath so the stat() can find the .git file. If the
path is a worktree, replace project name and path with the canonical
main-repo values so the downstream crossProviderKey matches.

* feat(dashboard): show more projects in By Project panel to fill panel height

The panel was hardcoded to 8 projects regardless of the Daily Activity
panel height alongside it. Pass the same `days` value used by Daily Activity
so the two panels stay in sync: 14 for week/6-months views, 31 for
month/30-days, 20 for all-time, and a minimum of 8 for the today view.

* feat(parser): resolve subdirectory sessions to their git repo root

When a cwd like ~/Repo/src/subdir is recorded, it should group with the
rest of the ~/Repo project. Previously resolveCanonicalProjectPath only
checked for a .git entry at the exact cwd, so subdirectory sessions
created separate ProjectSummary entries.

Walk up the directory tree until a .git entry is found. Guard against
foreign paths (a Windows path like C:\… on macOS cannot be walked on
the local filesystem) by only walking paths that look like absolute
paths on the current platform.

This also folds non-Claude provider subdirectory sessions into the parent
repo via resolveOtherProjectWorktrees, which now triggers whenever
canonical.path differs from the input path (not only for git worktrees).

* Address reviewer feedback: deduplicate getDesktopSessionsDir and fix test

Export getDesktopSessionsDir from claude.ts and import it in parser.ts
instead of maintaining an identical copy in both files.

Update the 'merges by sanitized slug' test to reflect the new path-aware
merge behavior: sessions with the same slug but different cwds now stay
separate (crossProviderKey keys by path, not slug), which is correct since
they represent different repos.
