Per owner decision: the binary 'burning code' flame is the mark
everywhere, matching the app's identity as a code-cost tool. Desktop
app icon + FlameMark (splash/sidebar/About/dock), menubar dock icon,
brand logo, and local dashboard all use the binary flame.
Retires the binary-digit flame (which muddied below ~256px) in favor
of the original solid flame everywhere: desktop app icon + FlameMark
(splash, sidebar, About, dock), menubar dock icon, brand logo. One
consistent mark that stays crisp at every size, matching the website
favicon and local dashboard.
Local web dashboard favicon + header (dash/public/codeburn-logo.png)
and the menubar dock/app-icon source (assets/menubar-logo.png,
assets/logo.png) now use the binary-flame mark, matching the desktop
app and website. The menu-bar status item stays monochrome-template by
Apple convention; the new dock icon lands on the next menubar release.
* docs(readme): four-surface hero grid with per-surface install shortcuts
Replace the single TUI screenshot and the scattered optimize, compare and
old menubar shots with one 2x2 grid under the badges: Desktop, Web,
Terminal, and macOS Menubar, each with its one-line way in (direct
download badges for the desktop builds, npx codeburn web, npx codeburn,
codeburn menubar). New screenshots downscaled to 1600px so the README
stays light.
* docs(readme): star and sponsor ask up top, consistency pass
Adds a one-line ask under the badges: star the repo if CodeBurn showed
you something the bill never did, sponsor to keep 36 integrations
honest. Caption line under the hero grid.
Consistency fixes from a full read: the sponsor section said 30
integrations while everything else says 36; dx is the Dioxus CLI, not a
package runner, so the install line now says pnpm dlx; the by-agent
command row was overstuffed for a table cell; Opus 4.6 in the signals
table aged into Opus 4.8; the License section ran MIT and the affiliation
note into one paragraph; two stray em dashes and a double blank line.
Bump the version, document the Zed provider (logo, provider doc, data
table row), add the audit and context commands to the README, and
refresh the stale Cursor data-source description to the composer-meter
accounting.
- Lead with a story: hook, hero dashboard, and a quick start that highlights npx, global install, and the menubar app
- Restore the honeycomb logo to the top and recolor all badges to brand orange
- Replace the 28-row supported-tools table with a compact logo wall, adding icons for Warp, Mux, and Vercel AI Gateway
- Group CLI commands into copy-friendly tables
- Merge "Provider notes" and "How it reads your data" into one Provider / Data location / Notes table
- Rewrite the sponsor section
- Change the tagline to "See where your AI spend goes."
- Correct the Node version (22.13+) and the provider count
Adds assets/menubar-logo.png and generates AppIcon.icns (all standard sizes
via sips + iconutil) in package-app.sh, so the menubar app ships with a real
icon instead of the generic one. Info.plist already referenced AppIcon.
Icon and bundler change from @tvcsantos's #439; the unrelated tsconfig.json
change in that PR was left out.
* Add IBM Bob provider
* Add workspace extraction for Cline-family providers
Extract project name from workspace directory in api_conversation_history.json
so sessions show actual folder names instead of the provider display name.
Thread projectPath through ParsedProviderCall to avoid unsanitizePath mangling
hyphenated folder names.

Closes#278.
Adds Charmbracelet Crush as a lazy-loaded provider:
- src/providers/crush.ts: walks ~/.local/share/crush/projects.json
(XDG_DATA_HOME and CRUSH_GLOBAL_DATA aware), opens each project's
crush.db read-only, queries root sessions where parent_session_id
IS NULL. Emits one ParsedProviderCall per session with real
prompt_tokens, completion_tokens, cost (dollars), and the
dominant model resolved from messages.model.
- src/providers/index.ts: register crush alongside cursor, goose,
opencode, antigravity, cursor-agent in the lazy import path.
- tests/providers/crush.test.ts: 10 fixture-based tests covering
discovery, parsing, missing-registry, malformed JSON, missing db,
child session exclusion, dominant model selection, dedup, and
array-shaped legacy registry.
Schema source: charmbracelet/crush@v0.66.1
internal/db/migrations/20250424200609_initial.sql, verified by
spawning a research agent against upstream. The schema *comments*
in that migration claim millisecond timestamps but every actual
INSERT/UPDATE uses strftime('%s', 'now') which returns Unix
seconds; the parser treats values as seconds. Tokscale's
parser (junhoyeo/tokscale#346) gets this wrong and is off by
1000x, plus its parser misses the prompt_tokens/completion_tokens
columns that exist in Crush's schema. Our integration uses both,
so Crush sessions get real per-model attribution.
Menubar:
- mac/Sources/CodeBurnMenubar/AppStore.swift: add .crush case to
ProviderFilter and its cliArg switch.
- mac/Sources/CodeBurnMenubar/Views/AgentTabStrip.swift: add
Crush color to the per-tab color extension. The visibleFilters
computed property already filters by detected providers, so the
Crush tab appears automatically when a user has Crush data.
README:
- Replace the provider table with an icon-led layout. Icons live
under assets/providers/<name>.<ext>. 14 icons sourced from
junhoyeo/tokscale (MIT) under nominative fair use, 4 sourced
separately: codex (OpenAI org avatar), cursor-agent (reuses the
Cursor icon), kiro (kiro.dev favicon, ico->png via sips), omp
(can1357/oh-my-pi icon.svg, MIT). Attribution line added.
- Add Crush row.
Docs:
- docs/providers/crush.md: full per-provider doc with verified
schema excerpt, the seconds-vs-milliseconds quirk, and a
"when fixing a bug here" checklist.
- docs/architecture.md: provider count 17 -> 18, test count
41 -> 42, and crush in the lazy list.
- docs/providers/README.md: add Crush row to the lazy index.
- CONTRIBUTING.md: bump test count to 568 (was 558).
All 568 tests pass locally; swift build clean.
Replace providers hero image with honeycomb design. Add compare screenshot
to 2x2 grid. Consolidate all documentation into single README with provider
table showing data locations, full feature reference, reading the dashboard
guide, and credits section. Add bunx as alternative install option.
The ?v=0.7.2 query bust wasn't enough; GitHub's Camo proxy was still
serving the SwiftBar-era image to viewers. Renaming the asset to a
new path forces every downstream cache to treat it as a new resource.
Sits between 'Reading the dashboard' (what the numbers mean) and
'How it reads data' (where the data comes from) so the feature lands
as the natural next step: here is how to act on the patterns you saw.
Detects edit/test/fix retry cycles (Edit -> Bash -> Edit) within each
turn. Shows 1-shot percentage in the By Activity panel for categories
that involve code edits. Updated screenshot and README.
