Replace repeated full-context family scans with a fresh parent-child index shared within each grouping and filter pass. Retain unchanged configuration, ordering, project lists and rendered sections to avoid unnecessary sidebar reconciliation. Preserve reactive row metadata, nested family pins, sorting, filters and collapse behavior without a persistent cache. Add frontend regressions and document the state-identity contracts. Verified the frontend suite, 33 focused Python tests and 17 live browser checks. In a local 274-chat sample, median activity updates fell from about 67 ms to 15 ms; unchanged focus refreshes produced zero sidebar DOM mutations. |
