inxi is a full featured CLI system information tool. It is available in most Linux distribution repositories, and does its best to support the BSDs.

inxi-svn 154f819680 big bug fix, usb networking output has apparently not worked for a long time, that is now fixed. ... Apparently if you pack an array that is global inside a subshell, that does not register on the primary level of bash. Who knew?
